My Review (4 stars out of 5)
Sceptic and would-be ghost believer Danny Robins has been spooking us with his award-winning podcasts, Uncanny and The Battersea Poltergeist, as well as his recent BBC version of Uncanny. In this book, he relates more creepy stories from ordinary people who’ve had extraordinary encounters.
I first heard of Danny Robins through his podcasts, and the TV version of Uncanny. This is an entertaining and at times properly scary read, told with the same enthusiasm and down-to-earth curiosity as the Uncanny podcast. Some of the events related—such as the one in Rome—cannot easily or logically be explained away. Others are the sort of stories you don’t want to be reading at bedtime if you hope to sleep peacefully. While the book is thoroughly entertaining, my only criticism is that the author occasionally goes off on a tangent, debating his subject matter to the extent that it detracts slightly from the rest of the book.
Scary, thought-provoking, and always entertaining.

This sounds right up my street, Colin. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.
